Welcome to the Grand Experiment…
I told myself that I would create a blog for the cohort after watching David Lee King in Salt Lake City. He talked about the need to keep up on technology…and how, if you don’t, it will be harder to compete for jobs with those people who do. I have no idea what I’m doing, but it is a start.
I may be typing to myself for awhile, but I hope that others may come aboard and teach us how this works. If I get more than 30 users, I’ll have to pay for the “unlimited users” option, but it will be worth it.
I thought people could click on a “post” type button and add postings. If someone adds a “comment” and it looks like another posting, I’ll create the “post” until I figure this out.

Hi Patrick,
This is your wife. That is very interesting blog you started. Hope you compete for one of those very high paying jobs.

I didn’t hear the David Lee King speech, but I concur. Bring on the technology! So, I’m a newbie, but I wholeheartedly agree with Wikipedia’s definition of those like me: “Newbie is a slang term for a newcomer to online gaming or an Internet activity. Newbies may be bullied by more experienced players of some games. The term is also used more broadly for newcomers to any activity where their inexperience puts them at a disadvantage. Although it is often derogatory, it need not be so and is sometimes used neutrally, without implying a value judgment.”
